Grant Schuetrumpf, General Manager of Dubsat explained, "We spent a long time asking people in the market what would make their lives easier and more convenient when trying to upload, book and dispatch TVCs. We then took all the research and developed MediaPro. As a result the whole production process is now even easier and much more convenient. There’s no longer the need to set-up third party FTP applications with IP addresses, names and passwords as the user can simply drag and drop a spot onto MediaPro and the uploading and ingest begins immediately."
MediaPro instantly provides feedback as to how the file is uploading. Uniquely MediaPro accepts video and audio files individually or as a single file then, along with an assigned clapper, ingests the files within Dubsat to provide immediate online playback. MediaPro then provides the user the ability to check vision to safe frame and audio levels against broadcast requirements. MediaPro is also synchronised with the user’s mydubsat online web portal account to connect with live booking and job estimation tools. The MediaPro-uploaded TVC is then connected to its booking instruction and once quality checked by Dubsat, sent on to the broadcaster’s destination with the entire service paid directly and conveniently by credit card.
MediaPro also broadens Dubsat’s network of destinations beyond traditional broadcasters to now include digital display outdoor networks, retail centres and online publishers. Dubsat have also expanded their reach into Singapore, UK, Ireland and the USA.
Dubsat is the only Australian based company to deliver TVCs directly within Australia and New Zealand without any third party handling of media and is expanding its international destinations into a global network.

As an Australian first, it is with much excitement that we announce nineMSN, one of Australia's top 5 visited online websites as our newest dWeb destination. "Hang on!" I hear you saying - "nineMSN are not a TV broadcaster?" Welcome to dWeb!
Dubsat has teamed up with nineMSN to provide dWeb, an advanced Dubsat service to ensure your TVC's may be easily and conveniently delivered to nineMSN to the required technical specifications. Dubsat's expansion into providing online destinations allows your advertising to reach nineMSN at the highest quality as easily and conveniently as possible - simply with a click of a button.
As the proliferation of video content continues to flood websites, naturally advertising is going to take advantage. We're now seeing TVC's being reformatted, wrapped in a video player and posted online. Even though the creative was intended to reach a TV, presenting a TVC online is being heralded as hugely effective in improving your CPM results.
Over time, Dubsat looks forward to accepting more online publishers into the dWeb network to provide you with the most easy and convenient service available.
A big congratulations to BMF, winner of the Grand Prix, Advertising Agency of the Year and NSW Agency of the Year.

The SubStation is our commitment to offer the best captioning services across Australia and New Zealand. Linda Baker, our GM of The SubStation and her team were the managerial and operational engine room behind the Australian Caption Centre with over 60 years of combined captioning experience. They have now created a new era of captioning services to provide fast and accurate turnaround, ensuring TVC's are never delayed in the captioning process or in the delivery to broadcasters.
"Our passion for providing access to television for the deaf and hearing impaired community has never waivered. We believe that the service integration between Dubsat and The SubStation is the most efficient way to ensure this service not only continues, but also grows. All commercials should have captions and with Dubsat involved, we can make this a reality."
The SubStation is a Omnilab Media company situated in the same premises as Dubsat, and provides the fastest order turnaround available. "Our integrated services do not rely on files to be travelling across town or for 3rd party insertion that can not be directly controlled from a single business. Our No.1 priority is to ensure our customers receive the most convenient and efficient service possible", added Baker.
Since 2000, Dubsat was the first digital distribution service available in Australia, so it's not unusual for Dubsat to once again lead from the front in offering fully integrated captioning services.
Alan Engert, GM of Dubsat said "We are committed to the highest quality of service to our clients in managing and delivering TVC's. From its inception in 2000, Dubsat works closely with agencies and post houses to ensure captioned commercials are always an important part of the delivery process, and now providing The SubStation services we give clients what they need, the most responsive turnaround of TVC service orders, bookings and distribution available in the market today."
We are pleased to announce the expansion of our delivery service to include the new broadcast destinations of Captive Health, Turtle Vision and Cartoon Network.
Captive Health is a closed circuit TV Network located in medial waiting rooms. Turtle Vision is a new interactive product and digital media network positioned in tertiary institutions.
In addition, you can now book Cartoon Network as a destination online, just as you do traditional television destinations.
When you make your next booking, you will notice we have made some enhancements to the look of the television destinations page. It's now even easier for you to find and select broadcast destinations for booking.
You can choose from two simple options, either a condensed ’tree view’ or an expanded ’form’ view. Either option gives you the ability to use the dynamic search function allowing you to quickly and easily find and select your required destination.
